Monopoly

I filmed my in-laws playing a game of monopoly. I wanted to capture the suspense and sense of competition that was present in the room as they were nearing the end of the game. I removed the audio because their vocalizations made it too obvious, and I wanted to try to tell the story visually. I ended up whipping the camera around a lot, trying to catch the small movements associated with a board game up close, and then moving to their faces to try to get a sense of what they were feeling. I think there are a few good moments in this video, and a few times where I succeeded in capturing the emotions that were present in the room.
