Here's my table and a couple chairs. I removed everything from the frame that would distract from the the lines of the table and chairs. I liked the strong vertical and horizontal lines contrasting with the curved lines in the chairs. I moved a lamp over to the far side of the table to throw some noir-ish diagonal shadows under the table and offset the symmetry a tad . I turned up the contrast and made it black and white to emphasize the linear motif, and I felt like the overall effect was kind of like a rorschach test with spidery lines instead of flowing blots.
Hey awesome photo, i really like the gritty feel, and you hit the noir style really well too. Sit down some actors and you've got an interrogation scene ready.
