Photo journal 9/9/15



This photo was taken in the Provo Library. I took this picture because I liked the Kubrickian look of this corridor. I was interested in capturing the symmetry, the depth cues, and the contrast in colors. The Provo Library has a cool mixture of classical and contemporary architecture that is apparent in this photo.

  3. This image is really good and bringing together opposites. It has both round and linear qualities as well as warm and cool lighting. It provides good tension.

  4. I agree with the Kubrickian comment for sure. I also think the balance between natural light, transitioning into the electric light says something all in itself.
