This is me messing around with the plate and the soap again. I put it on the floor to contrast the square tiles with the circles in the plate and soap. I liked the textural contrasts between the tile, the plate, and the soap, so I desaturated everything besides the soap in order to draw more attention to the texture. I saturated the color of the soap to make it pop out and draw the eye. Also, I wanted it to look like radioactive waste or something.

The effect works, when i first saw this one, i definitely thought radioactive, poison, or something. the texture contrast is also really cool.
ReplyDeleteI like everything about this picture! I think you could just take pictures of dish soap the rest of the semester and be okay!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome! You use flat space really well to create your own world. Seriously, I feel like I'm in some kind of alternate reality within an 80s fantasy movie or something. Like I feel like this could be in the Neverending Story.
